1. No godmodding, or powerplaying.
Take one for the team occasionally, it won't hurt to have a character die out. Depending on the roleplay, you can always make a new one, or I'll make a discussion board for people who have been killed out of the roleplay and can't get back in.
Alternately, no, you aren't the strongest, fastest, prettiest, bravest, most daring or the best person at anything. Don't even get the idea in your head. You're not the king of magic, you're not a superhero in disguise. You're a normal [given the circumstances of whatever the roleplay might be] person, who relies on average strength, speed, skills and whatnot.
2. No short posts.
Even I have been a victim of writers block once in a while, but one or two sentences is not enough for someone to make a reply to. If you're strapped for ideas, describe the surroundings, your character and every action in detail. It'll help.
3. The Rules are the Rules, you break them, you won't be asked to come back.
4. If you even read these rules, you will post the word monkey at the bottom of this page.
You will not be allowed to roleplay if you have not posted the word.
5. I'm keeping these roleplays simple, so, don't go over the top with your characters. If they're humans in the roleplay, they're humans.
and I mean it.
6. Weapons are realistic.
They do not come with special abilities, they are not so light that they feel like nothing, they are not special and ubermagical. They're not always a perfect shot, in fact, they're hardly ever a perfect shot. You do not have an endless supply of arrows. Etc.
8. Superpowers have their downfalls.
and I mean serious downfalls, not just simple little things that don't matter. If you don't know what the downfall of that power should be, talk to me and I'll help it.
9. Use puctuation, quotation marks, and ooc when needed.
OOC stands for Out Of Character and should only be used when you need to say something that deals with the roleplay outside of your character.
10. A maximum of three characters per player per roleplay.
This allows for diversity between all the characters within the roleplay. This does however vary from roleplay to roleplay.
11. The first character you create must be accepted by a staff member before use in a roleplay.
After this, the remaining two characters do not need to be accepted.
12. Characters you have created will go in a seperate thread within the Character sub-board. These threads are only to be edited by the creator of that thread, no one else.
